Vex is built around a heel with a hole through it — a cutout that carries your weight while looking like it shouldn't. Above it, black patent leather, a pointed toe, and a lace-up cage held by silver hardware.

These lace-up mules are backless on purpose. Nothing behind the heel, everything in front of it: eyelets, cord, metal clips, all of it structural.
