Ballet Flats

Ballet Flats

Ballet flats are the centre of Lil Cacti. Every pair here is vegan — no animal leather — and most of them do one thing a plain ballerina doesn't: a split toe, a lace, a strap, a stud, a square toe. This page is the whole family; the sections below are the shortcuts.

Lace-up ballet flats

Lace-up ballet flats tie around the ankle and change the whole leg line. The Romy Lace-Up Ballet Flats are the clean version; the Mara Leather Lace-Up Ballet Flats add a multi-strap ankle tie; the Roman Lace up ballet flats use ribbon-style ties; the Elodie Lace-Up Tabi Flats lace across a split toe. For a heel, the Prima Lace-Up Ballerina Heels.

Ballet flats with straps

Ballet flats with straps stay on when you walk fast. The Vivra Strap Leather Ballet Flats keep it to one sleek strap; the Clara Buckle Strap Ballet Flat has two buckles and a bow; the Anouk Cross Strap Tabi Flats cross them over a split toe. Mary jane straps have their own page: mary jane flats.

Square toe and studded flats

The Adora Square Toe Studded Ballet Flats are both at once — a square toe flat with silver studs. For studded ballet flats on a round toe, the Veda Studded Ballet Flats (silver dome studs) and the Suki Studded Ballet Flats (burnished black). The Corinne Studded Tabi Flats put the studs on a tabi.

Satin, lace and mesh ballet flats

Satin ballet flats for evening: the Evelyne Black Satin Tabi Ballet Flats and the Rosie Satin Tabi Ballet Flats. Lace ballet flats for the romantic version: the Florence black Lace Ballet Flats with a bow, and the Lace Embroidered Mesh Ballet Flats in sheer mesh.

Tabi flats

The split toe is our signature, and there are enough of them to have their own collection: tabi heels and tabi flats, from the Lena Tabi Mary Jane Ballet Flats to the Rue Black Tabi Loafers.

Ballet sneakers

When a flat isn't enough sole: the Velvet Barre Ballet Sneakers put a ballet upper on a chunky sneaker sole. More in ballet sneakers.

How to wear ballet flats

With cropped wide trousers and a bare ankle. With sheer tights and socks and a midi skirt when it turns cold. With straight jeans and a fitted knit for the balletcore flats look. And in polka dots, when you want the shoe to be the point: polka dot shoes.
