A hair comb in the old sense, the kind that holds the whole shape of the hair in place. Seven long, slim teeth in a silver tone slide into a twist or a low bun, and across the top sit three oval stones in purple, teal and red, set in a row like a small crown. Pushed in at the back of a French twist, only the stones and the top edge show, which is exactly the point. It is vintage in style and works just as well at the side of a loose knot. Wear it with bare shoulders and nothing else in the hair.
