Are Repetto flats worth it? What $47 to $88 does and does not buy
For some people, yes. If you wear one pair several days a week, want leather and will pay a cobbler to extend the sole, $375 to $425 spread over years is reasonable. A February 2026 review of the Cendrillon describes a leather upper, a thin leather sole and construction stitched inside out and then turned, and suggests adding a rubber sole after a few wears. Reviewers also report narrow toes and minimal arch support.
From ours you do not get French leather, a leather sole made for resoling, or a promise that a pair lasts a decade. You do get the same style family, vegan materials throughout, a price where a second color is an easy decision, and sizes up to EU 45 and 46 on two styles.
