Giselle Ruffle Ballet Socks

Giselle is a ruffle sock made to look like a ballet slipper. A fine nylon mesh foot is edged with a lace-trimmed ruffle that runs around the opening, a bow sits at the toe, and two ribbon ties cross the instep and wrap the ankle before tying in a bow, the way pointe ribbons do. It is cut low, so it sits inside a flat, a Mary Jane or a loafer with the ruffle and the ribbon showing above the shoe. Wear it under Mary Janes for a frilly sock look, or on its own with a skirt.
